One of the better looks at this issue that I have read or heard. Bonds is not the root of all baseball evil. I think if you could accurately trace the use of steroids in baseball you would find that the introduction was in the mid 1960's. That was when certain eastern european trainers who had fled their own countries began to meet and work with selected athletes in the USA to include a prominent baseball player or two. Those players would probably say the same thing Bonds did, "I took what my trainer gave me".
