Rutgers Football 2007
1. the year opens up with buffalo at home...thursday, august 30th 7 p.m.
2. season tickets sold out and individual game tickets will only be sold to the season ticket waiting list...what a change!! 3. anyway, i'm reading some articles and i come across this one that talks about UCONN stealing RU's "keep chopping" mantra....what a piece of trash move by them....there motto is "sawing wood"...so i'm on this message board reading about it and UCONN fans are trying to defend it..why?? here is a suggestion that a person said they could use instead: BOPPING THE  4. DC Jefferson, a highly rated qb just committed to the school...he chose RU over LSU, Auburn and Tennessee..qb was a must recruit and if he qualifies, he's the qb of the future...he's 6'6 250lbs...on the same day, another qb committed...stephem shimko..he's only 2 stars though...but he's also 6'6 210lbs  |

You say thats a big change in terms of tickets...how long has it been since demand and attendance has been this high? |

damn you and the red rovers comment...
you could always buy single game tickets and season tickets up to this past year....now they have over 6000 people waiting for season tickets...thats a huge jump for the program...i can't even get single game tickets and i'm alumni... they are talking about expanding the seating cause it holds about 45 or so thousand now...the pic on the bottom shows what they want to add...the building behind the stadium...right now where those seats are in the picture is just a hill...that would add a few thousand seats if they enclosed the whole stadium |

Not to worry Sig, once the program starts sucking again in a couple of years, there will be plenty of tickets available then.

eh, i'm not a Rutgers basher, just picking on them cuz Sig's a fan. I actually like seeing these smaller schools coming up and hanging with the big boys. It will only lead to more parity around the country... you won't have all the top talents going to just a handful of schools.

yes...the big east is still a bcs conference and rightfully so....louisville and west virginia are top 10 teams and the big east was way over .500 in bowl games last year
