Michigan race on now?

Earnhardt is in 5th and running strong, Busch is in 1st, I'm betting for a blown engine with 31 laps to go.

Yeah i saw they said it was going to start around 10am... figures too, i wanted to watch it the last two days. But now i'm at work, and the bastards won't let us watch tv here.

ah, i was off on the blown engine, but the prodigy did manage to lose 7 positions in under 40 laps.

and i was home because i had to fill out the police report from the shitheads that destroyed my mailbox last night.

Hey rusty,(or anyone else, i just ask him because he has one of those fancy lil cars in his avater) how many races are left before the cutoff of what I believe is the top 12 drivers?

Seems like a great desparity in points at that level if 12 is in fact the cutoff, how much does that usually swing on a week to week basis?

It's just 4 races to go. This is the first year with 12. It had been
10.Although you could potentially lose over a hundered points in one race,
there isn't much flucuation more than a spot here and there at this point in the season.In fact Dale Jr. is pretty much out of it in 13th,163 points behind 12th.He would have to do unusually good,and Truex and Busch would have to wreck early on a couple of times which is very unlikely.

maybe it was some 16 year old shithead who was going down the street smashing random things like 16 year old shitheads do..... and just maybe play with the mental picture of me chasing 6 such shitheads up the street in my boxers without shoes on in the rain, directly followed by me driving around town in the back of a police car looking for said vagrants.

so you can't claim credit for it. but you can chip in to help replace it if you'd like.

Thanks for the update Rusty...... now I've some smack talk ammo for my earnhardt fan friend, but maybe i'll wait a bit and not get involved in something I know little about.

If there is so little fluctuation at this point, doesn't it kind of make the next few races a bit less meaningful than the initial lot?
