If the New Orleans Saints were the biggest shocker in the NFC, the New York Jets were their AFC equivalent.

i love the doubters...you didn't have 1 thing positive to say about the team last year, yet they made the playoffs....the schedule might not of been the toughest but you still got to win them.....obviously i'm a homer and will back my team up but what does the bears defense have to do with thomas jones having a great year last year??

my prediction 10-6..second in the afc east...possible wild card

Your prediction may be right on, but..and this is a huge but, Pennington is the weak link here. All teams are dependent on their QB being both healthy and consistent. I agree that he may not their QB when the season ends. He is not the guy to take them to the next level and may not even be the guy to keep them at their current level.

he did enough last year and was healthy the whole year...plus everyone right now is saying that clemens is right there with him and could be playing before the season is over...but pennington is nowhere near the worst qb in the league and people doubt him cause he doesn't put up big fantasy numbers...all i care about is wins...and if he throws for 60 yards and we win the game...so be it
