Really the Pats streak is over but the media does not think so
The Dolphins of Miami are traveling to New England this weekend, for what some are calling the patriots to win big and give Miami there fifth lost of the season,However that might be true but the Patriots winning streak right now is at eighteen, according to the media.

Preseason wins don't count for anything. Regular season wins and postseason wins are the only ones that matter. Preseaosn games should be called exhibition games, because that's pretty much all they are. Those games are just another way for owners to make money off the fans desperate enough to go to any game, anywhere, at any time.
Plus, the media is not in charge of determining what is a winning streak and what is not. The NFL is in charge of all of that stuff. the media just reports on it all and sometimes manages to blow it out of proportion - not that this is true in this instance, because the Patriots really are on one of the greatest runs in the history of the game.
