Mike Smiddy - JackAss of the week September 4th, 2007 - September 12th, 2007

A Dallas high school football coach is free today on $25,000 bond after being accused of attacking his wife.

Police say 36-year-old Mike Smiddy allegedly threw a folding chair at his wife and then struck her in the head with a concrete block during an argument.

The 36-year-old head coach of the Bryan Adams football team was arrested yesterday and charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

Authorities said he and his wife were arguing Monday evening.

After the dispute, Smiddy allegedly refused to let her get medical help for several hours.

The woman was later was treated at a hospital.

Smiddy has been put on paid leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Defensive coordinator Dorman Pryer will be interim head coach.

It was unclear if Smiddy has an attorney.

wow, i'd love to know what started the "argument" (if you could call it that, I think i've had a few arguments in my time, and none of them involved women on the recieving end of bricks defying gravity)...... this would have to be a hell of a fight for this maniac to not have felt he got his point across after the wwe chair smash.

maybe not but they do involve key swinging and the funny one where you threw the person onto the bricks and made her bleed....ok that wasn't a fight but its funny
