truly inspired special teams play, i don't know what i was thinking picking them in survival, figured maybe 76 year old brett farve shouldn't be scary anymore, but i guess he doesn't have to be when you're not scoring and giving away points at the same time.
Where's that shithead carrying the Kearse jersey now? |

Eh one game...O was rusty as I expected D played well in the game...Special Teams lost the game...no handed them the game on a platter. I could not be more irked with the Eagles for not being prepared to hanle punt returns or even kick off returns heading into a season and for the life of me can't understand why Westy was not the returner for that last punt....oh well I even told Jay this would not surprise me this week when he took them in the survivor pool.
You Dallas guys should be excited about your team...you beat up on a shitty team missing most of their starters and couldn't stop me from scoring on you. We'll split the season series with you and still take the division. |

I would think so...but apparently not...which still gets me even more pissed...they had to know that he wasn't making a case to be on the roster so plan B was to what...wing it? Bad football practices. Reno Mahe is in town for a workout...way to value return guys, ugh!

As far as the defense not stopping anyone, I'm hopefully chaulking that up to newman not being in the game, and Phillips being a little more conservative with his blitz schemes, that said our safety help up top is non existant again this year, good thing You're eagles don't have a single decent receiver or we might be in trouble for those two games. |

Typical Dallas fan...wanting to hurt other players not outplay them.
The cowgirls offense looked pretty good I'll give you that...though they were playing a horrid D...you better hope that the D can be chaulked up to something for the week. Problem is when you face a team with a good O and good D a little adversity will put this team back into perspective. We've never had receivers and burned your D before so I'm not concerned about your comment...the same comment made by everyone every year and is proven wrong every year even with Stinkston and Thrash. Problem is for both of us is that we are in a weak conference and bad division...neither team stands up to a lot of the AFC unfortunately. |

Add to that, an EAGLES fan is talking about another team wanting players hurt???? You animals cheered when Michael Irvin broke his neck, I'm just glad that the terrible injury we had over the weekend didn't happen in Philly because we'd never see the end of the footage of you self hating savages jeering. Oh, and SSigs, he went to N. Illinois. and yes i had to look that up. |

Crowd callous about Irvin's injury
Players astonished by fans' reaction 10/11/1999 By JEAN-JACQUES TAYLOR / The Dallas Morning News PHILADELPHIA – As Michael Irvin lay crumpled and motionless on the Veterans Stadium turf Sunday afternoon, many of the Eagles' fans began cheering. The longer Irvin remained on the ground during the Cowboys' 13-10 loss, the more the crowd roared. The cheers reached an apex, when a stretcher was brought onto the field for Irvin. "It disgusted me to death," Emmitt Smith said. "It's just a game. That's what it's called - a game. Life. Being paralyzed. Death. Anything outside of the game is reality. No matter how you look at it, sports is sports but a human being is playing the sport. |

Your point??? So we have something in common I guess...we don't wish for death and injury...we just cheer it when it happens to Cowgirls!!!
BODY BAG BODY BAG BODY BAG! At least I can admit that neither of our teams stand up to the best in the AFC...we're just lucky to most likely make the playoffs by default or process of elimination if you will. |

way to early to make that determination, but I'd probably agree if I too were an eagles fan. I think that we have the offense in place, the defensive talent to put together a respectable squad, and the defensive mind in our head coach to really put something together this year, but we'll see over the next 15 games I guess. |

Nothing wrong with being optimistic...I am as well and don't worry about the result or issues from game one. To think that you are on par with the Pats, Chargers or Colts is homerific.
