Bears Player Mike Brown

Man I just heard this and I am sorry for Bears fans. Mike Brown is out again. What a bummer, this guy has no luck with staying healthy!

Quote:
The loss of Brown is particularly devastating since this will mark the fourth year in a row in which the star-crossed defensive back will miss significant playing time, and the third time in four seasons that his campaign ended prematurely with him on the injured reserve list. It will increase to 43 the number of games that Brown has missed in the past four years.

Fearing the worst, Brown, 29, was emotionally distraught in the Chicago locker room on Sunday evening, after injuring his knee with 10 minutes remaining in the game. He called the injury "another sad day in the chapter of my football career."

Said Brown, who is recognized as the emotional leader of the Chicago secondary, and a safety who specialized in big, game-altering plays early in his career: "It's a shame. It hurts my feelings really bad."

Like I said yesterday, his new tattoo MUST read... "Fragile, handle with care". This guy is made out of thin glass.

Oft injured guys really always make me wonder...are they just that fragile...do they not care for their body...is their conditioning and strength training not enough or done well...is it stetching...bad luck....likely a combo of all things but i think a lot of it has to do with how much you throw your body around making big hits or taking big bits.

Harrison is like never injured but when you watch him play you know why, lots of out routes or curl routes where he usually goes down or out before contact or just a catch on the fly into the endzone.

They were just wishing him a speedy recovery.

The good thing about a lead pipe is it melts down easily and can be formed into another shape(a halo perhaps) therefore making the evidence harder to find.

I don't think the pipe would melt up there.

Nah it is just a bummer that all these happen in week one and most of them are season ending. Some of the players will probably have their careers ended due to this. I know that is part of the game, but it is just too bad to see

Mike Brown is one hell of a safety!!
