bill belichick - JackAss of the week September 12th, 2007 - September 19th, 2007

This is an easy one. He is the head coach of the New England Patriots. They were caught by the NFL with a video tape that shows they were spying on the New York Jets Defensive coaches.

What is this Nazi Germany? Since he is the MFIC of the Patriots, it is his fault. Lots of sports radio shows have been expressing many different fines and suspensions.

What about this?

Not only Suspend him, Not only Fine the team and him

MAKE THE PATRIOTS FORFEIT THEIR WIN in WEEK 1 against the Jets.

I actually got on ESPN 103.3 here in Dallas today and expressed this to a local radio show. I did not get a chance to hear what they said about it though

Anyway Bill, ur a jackass!!!

great call Mike. I for one think the league should forfeit their win, takes measures like that for the teams to take this seriously.

They should also not be allowed to be in the playoffs this year no matter their record, like how college teams are sometimes not eligible for bowl games. Not being in the playoffs will affect the Pats’ bottom line and the best way to punish someone is to fuck with their money.

Seems to me that the NFL doesn't have a policy on forfeiting games or suspensions out of the playoffs. I would like to see it happen, but I doubt it. I think the team should be punished, but draft picks wont send the message!!

I agree with Andy on this one, make them ineligible for the playoffs and SB!!!!

Great JAOW for once well done Mikeee!

Its probably guaranteed that they wouldn't excluded from the playoffs..no way...though I'd not be opposed to that idea at all.

Draft picks if done right could hurt the team but to what extent?

I'm sure it'll be a big fine and draft picks...hopefully 2 first day picks 2nd and 4th rd or 3rd and 5th rd for 2 or 3 years and a million dollar fine.....for EVERY play/signal recorded on that tape. I'd love to see a multiple game suspension of Bill as well.

Enjoy it while you can (even if this was blatantly obvious for the JAOW) it won't last long

I agree with the Jackass designation but laugh sarcastically at your overreactions. If it was whichever team it is you root for Mike you would never make that suggestion.

Can't happen in the NFL players association and players would never let that happen...they can't penalize the players for what the coaches did.

Really the only avenues that could possible work are coaching suspensions, fines, and draft picks.
