New Uni's

Is the entire NHL getting new unis today? I know that the Stars will and I know that the NHL unvieled the new jersey at the ASG last year, but I did not know if every team was going through a redesign. Anyone?

Yes, every team is getting new jerseys... many will look almost exactly the same, but most are getting new designs and/or logos. Most teams have already been leaked on the net.

Yeah i'm with ya Rusty... sure I don't go all the far back, but I didn't want to see them change away from the sweaters to a jersey. BUT, i'm willing to give them a real try before i knock them.

yeah,I don't like them,but can live with them.The modern logo's are usually what I really hate. I love when teams,(like were talking about the other day in the NFL with the chargers) go back to more of a retro look. Maybe in the years to come,the NHL will do this.

??? What is the difference between a sweater (or at least what we've been calling sweaters for the past 10+ years) and a jersey? Short sleaves?

The new jersey's are tighter fitting not loose like the old sweaters

And they are made from a different material... one similar to the NFL jerseys i believe.

I generally don't mind new jersey's I just don't like when they go over the top and look foul but I guess who does. Not a huge retro look guy so I generally welcome change.

Ugh, finally the Flyers show their new jerseys... Needless to say, i'm not getting a new one.

Really..not a big fan of the Flyers new jerseys? They aren't horrible and didn't change a ton...not that I am running out to get one but they could be a lot worse...though they do have a slight flamish look to them on second look.

I effing HATE them. Sure, Briere looks gay in most things, but that white jersey is just fucking horrible. However, Ben Franklin rocks.

I don't hate them as much as you do but highlighting the shoulder area is pretty bad. Glad I an old one!
