Ummmmm....how do you defend yourself in this one. There are at least a couple hundred witnesses and then the photographs and the players who got beaten themselves....Can someone explain to me how this works?

I'm sure he's just trying to get the charges dropped. Threaten the DA's that they will have to sit in court, and they may just give him less of a charge in a plea deal. It would cost them alot less money. Its not like he can just get out of the whole thing all together and i'm sure he knows that.

Even if he did miss with the bat, wouldn't it still be attempted assault with a deadly weapon?
