The (sports) Gospel According to Mark: Fans need to acknowledge greatness of Bonds

Barry Bonds is one of the most hated players playing baseball today. Anywhere outside of San Francisco he is taunted by fans, slandered by media, and is hated on by just about everyone. Hell, I am not even a Barry Bonds fan. But, unlike most fans that let their prejudices cloud their judgment, I...

Wow, this is probably the best Pro-Bonds article that I have read in along time, great job Mark

I cannot believe that all you Bonds haters out there have not replyed to this or come out of the closet to bash him, once again. Maybe some of you will just read Mark's article and then have a new feeling on Bonds's accomplishments, not his personality. Or unless you are watching Sportscenter and hearing another negative comment which I am sure you will believe anyway.

I would like to invite all the negative mofo's here to talk about this article and BRING IT ON!

its a bad day for all the ignorant Bonds haters. Ultimately, I was right as Bonds took home his 7th MVP award. Barry Bonds truly is the best player to play baseball, EVER, and many people are blinded by their petty hate to appreciate it. Pathetic

He was not the best player ever from 1986-1999 which was the majority of his career.
He became great at 35 years old and put together the 5 best years in history maybe, but his lifetime .300 avg. does not say greatest player ever.

actually he won 2 MVP's during that time frame that you are referring too. He should have won in 1991, but was a close second. Like all players, whether they are great or not, start off slow, but he has. He has hit 30 or more homeruns for what, 13 years in a row. he is the only member of the 500/500 club. for Christ sake, he is 40 years old. He has won 7 gold gloves! There are more awards out ther, some in Mark's article. I am done talking about Bonds, you guys cannot take him for his baseball abilites. so fucking what that he does not like the media or the fans. Fans that make rude and crude statements about him, but his family, his daughters. I have heard this first hand, I would tell you to fuck off if you called my little girl the names that I heard in St.Louis. Take Bonds for his abilites, not for his attitude, the baseball writers did, hence the 4 MVP's in a row and stop bashing the guy for his personality. End----
