A-rod will move on in my opinion, unless they are willing to pay him $ 30 million a season and Torre will be fired or not have his contract renewed. Steinbrenner will be looking for a scape goat and will want a fresh face in charge to see if they can spark something that George feels is missing in NY

I know many of you are Yankee haters, but its going to be a sad day for me when this team breaks up. Since high school i've been a fan of and following this team. Say what you will about king George, but with Torre at the helm they have been a classy team (for the most part that is). How can you not like the players and people that Jeter, Posada, Brocious, O'Neil, Boggs, Bernie Williams, etc are and were?

I'm going to miss this past era of the Yankees.

It's got nothing to do with the players or staff.Just the team as a whole entity from the perspective of a Red Sox fan.

Oh yeah, Red Sox fans not liking them is a requirement. I understand that.

As far as Arod goes, I really think he'll be back. But Lupica said this morning that he's hearing Arod's agent (Boras?) is going to be looking for a 10 year deal worth around $300 million. Can anyone really justify paying $30 mil a year for him for the next 10 years?

Torre? I don't think Cashman can manage to get Gerogie to keep him again. They are going to want to change some things up and i bet Joe gets booted.

I'm not a yankee's hater and it will suck to watch this team dismantle if it does. Though the boss will still do whatever he can to make this team a champion again soon. I don't think Torre needs to go but I'd assume that some big changes are going to happen with this team.
