Maybe he was joking, but gregarious Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder confessed today he didn’t know until Tuesday that people spoke English in London.

“I couldn’t find London on a map if they didn’t have the names of the countries,” Crowder said. “I swear to God. I don’t know what nothing is. I know Italy looks like a boot. I learned that.

“I know (Washington Redskins linebacker) London Fletcher. We did a football camp together. So I know him. That’s the closest thing I know to London. He’s black, so I’m sure he’s not from London. I’m sure that’s a coincidental name.”

The whole Florida University admins just cried a bit. WOW.

some are making decent arguments that he's joking..... but maybe if i had millions to get out and spend i'd have less time to worry about geography, I can't really put myself in his shoes. This was commented on that page

"Here are some facts about Channing. He scored a 30 on the wonderlic. He was a member of the National Honors Society in college. He had a validated 3.5 GPA at University of Florida, and I believe he graduated early."

If that's accurate this guy is pretty funny pulling this off.

I wonder if he can find Niger on a map?

i know i know..... i just had a 2 hour ride home in traffic listening to the O&A replay so my humor at the moment is a little off color.
