Golden State Warriors 2007

So after a great finish to last season by kicking the Mav's ass in the playoffs, I want to know what some of you think about the upcoming Warriors season. I think that they are talented, but that the loss of JR Richardson will hurt them. He was such an emotional leader, but they did get two picks to replace him

For the first time in along time, I am looking forward to an NBA season and will watch more games for the first time in about 15 years. I have been a newspaper fan for along time, just checking the standings and such, but i am fired up to watch Nellie and company.

I am not saying that they will win their division or anything, but I know that they will make the playoffs again

Not a good way to start the season by getting whooped at home by the Utah Jazz - 117 - 96, but it is only a start and I am predicting at least a 50 win season

50-32 in the West? After they were 42-40 last season? Thats going to be very tough, but good luck to your boys.

It WAS a fluke because if we ran that series 100 times, the Mavs would win 90 of them. The Mavs were a better team top to bottom and deep through the bench. They were caught by suprise. For some reason Avery changed for the warriors game plan instead of having them prove that they could beat the Mavs at their own game. Still not sure why but whatever; FLUKE.

How about this... Mavs will beat them in gs by 20 next week when they play.

Winning 4 of 6 and winning game 6 by 25 points is no fluke.
Caught by suprise works for one game maybe,but not a best of 7 series.
The better team on paper means nothing.
Dallas was the Arod of basketball.It's no fluke he doesn't perform in the playoffs.
This season has nothing to do with last season.

Well Nick I can say that I am a staunch believer in never say never again, you just do not know

on another note > this 0-3 start is not good and seems to me that nothing at all is going good for Bay Area sports teams and fans.....
