1. I did vote for Brodeur, since even with his slow start, he has still been the best goalie in the East since the last allstar game. He was that good last year. I really don't think anyone votes on just the first month of the season. He's been great the last 2 games, but if he reverts to how he played beforehand and keeps stinking up the joint, i would probably vote for someone else (likely Lundqvist) later on in the season.

2. For the last time, Brodeur didn't bang his wife's sister. He banged (is still banging I think) her brother's wife. But I guess sister banger sounds better than sister-in-law banger or something.

3. Since you are so concerned with my early picks, I'll give them to you: Crosby, Lecavalier, Alfredsson, Phillips, Markov, Brodeur in the East and Iginla, Thornton, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Pronger, Luongo in the West. Just typing that makes me realize how crappy the defensemen in the East are compared to the West.

Hypocrite. You can try to justify it, but he is not deserving of being an all-star this year.

I haven't done mine yet... i'm cheating and waiting a bit to see how the next week or so plays out.

How is it hypocritical? I also voted Luongo, who has been even worse than Brodeur this year, because he was so good for most of last year.

I'll probably vote again in a few months, and by then, this season will matter more of course. Can't you still vote once per day if you want to? I think that's how Buffalo managed to stack the allstar team last year - I mean, what else is there to do in Buffalo but sit at your computer and vote for the allstar game every day.
