Redskins Sean Taylor Died Today
Wow, this is really a tragic ending to a very talented player. Prayers go out to his family at this time. Not much more that can be said but WOW.

Yeah, he has a really young kid. Now that kid doesn't have a dad any longer, cause some asshole wanted something from Taylor's house. That's really sad.

wow, only five years older than I.
Just plain horrible, and I hope they find whoever shot him. Someone broke into his house twice? I would have thought that an NFL player would have security, especially after being broken into once. |

a too-early ending to the Taylor story. Especially sad due to his young kid. Unfortunately, this just another example of how sick our society is becoming. Death caused by greed. Ssigs - he died to due loss of blood - huit in the leg but hit an artery.

yea, it was the major artery in the leg. I think its the femoral or something, its in the thigh.

yea i read it but the emt's should know how to clamp the artery to stop it from bleeding and the surgeons should be able to fix that..its 2007..plus we have blood transfusions, etc...if we can pry apart conjoined twins..we should be able to save someone shot in the leg

I'm guessing they did just that Ssigs, probably just got there too late, too much blood had already been lost. According the newstories I've read, he never regained consciousness so there was probably too little blood getting to his brain right from the get-go.

thats why a machete isn't effective in a home invasion....he had all types of problems with guns in the past..he shoulda just used one of them from the get go
