Steelers at New England
Let stop with all the baloney about cheating, poor officiating and all the rest of that rigamarol. What do you Ranters see happening Sunday at the Razor?
On one hand you have an undefeated team that for a while was looking unbeatable. the last two teams to play them made an effort to get physical and disrupt the timing of the NE offense. While this was effective the Patriots still scored, especially when they had to. On the other hand, Pittsburg has had their issues this year. The consistency has not been there offensively. Their defense has the lowest PA, but that may be at least a partial product of the teams the've faced. Add into the mix this guarantee of Mr. Anthony Smith who I am sure is getting a beatdown from his coach this very moment. I don't believe the Steelers are the real deal, but the Patriots are in an adjustment period and have had a short week. No crystal ball predictions for me but I will go on the record as saying I don't think that the Steelers will win this game.

Pats 31, Steelers 20.
The Steelers defensive numbers look great, but i'm of the opinion that it has more to do with the teams they have played. The Pats got their scares the last two games, they will do what it takes to put this one out of reach early. |

I tend to think sometimes that the Pats were really buying into the hype that they were unbeatable prior to the Eagles game and while thinking so let themselves drift from what got them to that point undefeated a bit. I do think that the Eagles and Ravens put together great game plans to take any and all advantage of any weaknesses the Pats may have so I think that combo had a lot to do with how those games went.
That said I think this Pats team is insanely good and real champions do find a way to win through any and all adversity which the Pats have done a number of times this year when they weren't rolling teams at will. Regardless of my hatred for this team and their attitude problems across the board I seem them winning this game through some adversity. I picked the Stillers in hopes of an upset but Pats 27 Stillers 19

Agree that the Steeler's impressive d-stats are a bit misleading due to the (lack of) quality opponents to date, but they still do have a solid defence and can play very physical. But, I don't think they have enough offensive weapons to take advantage of that. I predict a 27 - 16 Patriots win, and a team fine laid on Anthony Smith.
Picked the Steelers in the pool anyway. The Steelers need to be VERY physical and run the ball up the Pat's throat for them to have a chance.
