Where are the Red Sox Nation headed now?

Okay, Sox fans. They won. It's all over. You can finally rest. There's nothing left for you to live for. So now what? The devotion of your entire life to this storied franchise, buying every piece of merchandise, attending every home game (and even away games), denouncing Yankee fans at every...

It doesn't matter what's next for Red Sox fans. They have seen their team win the World Series and their lives are complete. You are way off base if you think nothing has been accomplished.Going to work, paying bills, and feeding the kids now becomes more enjoyable and their lives recharged. An obsession relieved,a burden removed,a dream come true, the series win for a Red Sox fan is everything.Who cares what happens next.It means nothing to you who has no clue or understanding of what it is to be a Red Sox fan.

If you really need the abstract conceptualization of seeing a grown man hit a small leather spheroid in order to inject enthusiasm into your life, and if you really don't know nor care what you're supposed to do next, why not just eat a bullet and get it over with. Save the world some oxygen.

I guess somebody doesn't understand the conviction of these fans, their decades of suffering, and their love for the sport. Such a pity.

I guess some people just hate their own lives, then. Some people must reduce themselves to a trivial abstraction.

hmm. pity.

Hey dictionary boy,I don't "need" baseball in my life.
Once again, you don't have a clue. You are able to type some big words, but when it comes to real life, you may as well be illiterate. You can't get a grasp on another person recieving enjoyment from a sporting event,so your response is for them to kill themselves.Your use of big words doesn't do a very good job at covering up what an idiot you are.

Excellent post!

The ability to use big words does not automatically add validity to your posts.

Thanks,
Ishtard's vocabulary level and reasoning ability are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

I think we are going to be rooting for another series.

The real test is when and if we can win another one after reconstructing during this offseason and seeing what we can build for the next.

Im all for breaking of the curse, but we need to win another one to confirm the breaking's validity.
