Cowboys -v- Panthers
Jessica Simpson banners and masks aside, the boys limp out with a win, Romo's thumb looked great at times with any passes over the middle, he had a few sail on him to the flats, but it's not like that never happened before last week. The injury bug is really starting to rear it's head, after starting the season with a couple key injuries on the defense, we're closing the regular season with injuries on both sides of the ball.
I'll sit today and root for the Bears so we can rest up and not have a must win in FedEx field with Crayton as our #1 go to, with a questionable thumb still possibly an issue, our starting center probably still out, and lacking defensive secondary depth that we can't afford to be without. Barber was his usual animal self, I can't get enough of this guy week to week, and JJ even ran the ball well in the 2nd half. The Jaques Reeves no call down the stretch could have spelled disaster, I think the only saving grace was that the panthers reciever never extended his arms for the catch and counted on it falling into his chest.... so overall, some good things, some bad... I just hope we're not in a must win scenario against the Redskins who much like the eagles will really get up for a Cowboys game. p.s. I was waiting for Nicks witty title to post some comments in, but I've not a ton of patience left after holiday shopping. |

anyone have suggestions for getting tickets to the redskins game??? I've tried the usual ebay/stubhub/gotickets.com and am having little luck finding even nosebleeds for less than 200 a piece without accounting for an additional 100 for parking.

hate to jinx it, but this weekend has great potential, both the giants and the packers losing at the moment, all i would need if those two held up would be a pats loss and the sting of owen's injury worries would all but be gone.

well, i jinxed the shit out of the Bills, but the Bears held up huge today. If we're fortunate enough to hit the championship game, it'll not be at Green Bay, although looking at how they performed in bad weather today, that may not have been a great advantage to them after all.

I was at the game, and there weren't as many masks as I would have hoped. I did make an anti-Romo tshirt that I will post here. The game was sold out with tickets still going for $50 after kickoff which in Charlotte is rare with a team that bad. My past experiences with Dallas fans was they were always kind of obnixous, but they were really cool last night. Some of my pix are with Dallas fans that dressed up as Jessica.

did you happen to see what the big jessica simpson banner in the end zone read? i caught a glimpse of it a few times on tv and couldn't make it out. they showed an interview with romo from earlier in the week where they showed him the masks you had and he seemed to get a kick out of it.

Of course as YOU well know, he'll be just fine for the first playoff game. I think the dude has Wolverine's healing factor.

He is a freak of nature in terms of size, ability, talent, and healing from non-major and major injuries...
....lest we forget the amount of pills he can down without death. |
