Cowboys -V- Redskins

holy damned ouch that one stung, injuries or not, we better get in sync over the bye week because that was pretty damned sad. A 14 year backup picked our secondary apart, our boy Roy once again showed he refuses to wrap tackle anyone if he can't pull you down by your neck, Ol Jaques looked fucking lost, Anthony Henry played great every other play, and Romo was terrible in fucking gloves.

I know we were missing some really key pieces on the line, owens, ratliff, newman, etc.... but there's no guarantee the healing freak makes it back to the first playoff game, not only that, but the redskins put a scare into us midseason with most of our guys healthy.

The giants looked really respectable for a half on Saturday, the redskins are playing possessed, The pack bounced back to smack the lions around, these playoffs may be really interesting after all.

Some really ridiculous penalties committed, we had the guaranteed false starts, but some key holding calls really stalled whatever offense we tried to produce. I'll whine however that the illegal contact that nullified Hamlins interception was questionable at best.

Where is the final draft order?? I'm thinking some of these teams winning probably helped my Raiders.

I thought the same thing as we watched the end of the jets game, hell of a time for Jones to figure out how to grind out some yards on that last drive. The Jets are looking at the 6th pick now with a 3 way tie for the 3,4,5 picks. The NFL was supposed to figure out a tiebreaker beyond strength of schedule today.

jay, your raiders are tied with the falcons & kansas city for the three above mentioned picks, i can't find the tiebreaker decided upon today if they did in fact decide already.

The Dolphins were just one win away from having the worst record in the NFL. With a win against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16, they added one win to their season, ending with a record of 1-15.

The St. Louis Rams are second with their 3-13 season.

There is a three-way tie for the third pick between Kansas City, Atlanta and Oakland. The teams will be involved in potentially a two-tiered coin flip. The first flip, between Kansas City and Atlanta, will determine the 3rd pick. If Atlanta wins that flip, Kansas City will pick 4th and Oakland 5th. If Kansas City wins that flip, a second coin flip, between Oakland and Atlanta, will determine the 4th and 5th picks.

So the best the Raiders can do is 4th and the worse is 5th. Eh, much better than before this past week started.

miami 1st

st. louis 2nd

the coin flip is based on sos if they didn't play heads up

either way we had the 3 and screwed it up...

early mock draft

dolphins - parcells will try to trade this to the cowboys for both 1st rounders(21 and 31) but they won't bite...they need a dt like glenn dorsey but can't pass up mcfadden

st. louis - jake long OL michigan - they need a OL badly

not in any order but who i think they'll take

atlanta - matt ryan qb boston college

oakland - glenn dorsey dt - lsu....sapp is going to be 35

k.c. - toss up..if they lose jared allen to free agency..they take chris long de virginia..if they keep him they can go a million different ways cause watching them yesterday..they are worse than the jets...OL would be the obvious choice or kenny phillips fs miami

jets - chris long if available..if not someone who will be a bust as usual

I don't get it either. The Raiders split with KC but neither of them played Atlanta.

do you not read my posts

• Strength of schedule for the previous season is the first tie-breaker for teams with the same winning percentage.

Divisional and conference records are the next step in the tie-breaking procedure.

• As a last resort, a coin toss is used to determine the order of selection for teams with the same winning percentage.

I can't believe a fucking coin toss will decide it, not only that, why not pick some stat from this season, I don't like going back 2 years to decide it either. wouldn't points scored, or difference in points scored vs those allowed be a decent tie breaker???

they do that because they assume if your picking early, your coming off a few bad seasons and they want those teams to get the earlier pick rather than a team that just had 1 bad year due to whatever reason but really they are a playoff caliber team
