Super Bowl: Giants vs. Pats, do you even care?

I don't. I mean I will watch the game but only because it's the Super Bowl and I will be at a party. Otherwise I could not care less about these two teams. Neither team is really that likable and the possibility of NE going undefeated does nothing for me at all in terms of excitement. I mean I would love to see the Pats lose as they are a bunch of fuckers but my world won't end if they win and become the first team to go 19-0.

Anyway, in terms of my overall anticipation level the last Super Bowl that I was as apathetic about was when the Giants played the Ravens.

What say you fellas?

Not as exciting as if Green Bay had got in,but a good match up for me being from the Northeast.So,I do care.
Rooting for the Pats but wouldn't have a problem if the Giants and Eli won.

hey - it's the superbowl, so I am interested. Agree with Rusty that it would be more interesting with the Pack in there, but at least there is a decent 'storyline' - can the Pats complete the perfect season, or can the Giants complete the surprising comeback season? There's also the question of the Giants big pressure defence against the Pats' seemingly invincible offence. All in all I think this has actually shaped up into an interesting battle - as long as the Pats don't run away with it early it might even be a good game.

I care, but not as a life or death scenario. I want the Patriots to win to complete the perfect season.

On another note I feel good for Tom Coughlin. He built a Jacksonville franchise from the ground up. The Jaguars are a viable contending team to this day and Coughlin was the beginning of that. Both Jacksonville and Coughlin moved on. The NY press has been all over him from the start and they had plenty of help from that assholeTiki Barber. Barber probably gets his dick hard gazing in the mirror. He leaves and the Giants put it together. Good for Coughlin but it probably won't save him from the hyena's in the NY press.

Agree with you about Barber. I was thinking about his Eli comments at the beginning of the year yesterday after the Giants won.

i don't root for the giants..i don't hate them..just the ignorant fans they have..but i'll be rooting for them cause i'm not a pats fan...shocking i know...plus its ny v. boston..i don't care if the giants play in nj and the pats are "new england"..and i hate boston fans and that accent annoys the shit out me...come ere you cawksucka...who the hell talks like that...cheating redsox loving queers..thats who

i hope the giants win and tom brady gets 2 fingers ripped off his throwing hand

Is it weird that Buffalo is the only team that is actually in NY?

For actually living in Boston, I actually don't hear the thick accent that most put Boston to be.

I didn't write it and if you look at that blog as a whole it is pretty funny and pulls no punches in its attempts at crude humor. I’m sorry you are offended, that wasn’t my intent but I didn’t think it was out of line or anything.
