Somewhere Mr. Young just ducked and doesn't know why.

although I admire their drive to complete their education, I worry that it would take away from the offseason prep that they should be doing. In my opinion, although the season is only 6 or so months long, for the money invested in that time period the offseason should be taken very seriously. From what you hear out of the players, they'll take a few weeks to recover, and then begin offseason routines full time to improve and prepare for the upcoming multimillion dollar season.

From experience, attending school full time leaves little else and anyone working even part time would have either work or school suffer a bit. A ton of room for critisism here if Young doesn't come out and play brilliantly early next year.

Is he going full time though? (can't read the article, stupid brockman's link sucks). Either way, i will never fault anyone for going back to get educated. Good for Young. I have no doubt he's going to make sure this doesn't get in the way of his football career. They don't devote 12 hours a day to football, whether us, as fans, would like them too or not.

He needs to finish school. At the rate he is going,he will be out of the NFL in a couple of years.

I applaud him for doing it and no doubt feel it will not affect his offseason...but like rusty said...he's gotta look at time after football which could be sooner than originally thought.

you're all ridiculous if you think he won't be playing for another 10 years...he has proven he can lead a team and make plays..he's still young and learning..not every qb comes in and is a tom brady...give him more playmakers and see what happens

That I agree with. Even IF he lost his starting job, just about every team would want him to be their #2 QB. But with better receivers and maturing, i believe he's going to be a starter for a long time.

In his first year, yeah he made plays. This year he has taken a step back. He is starting to get injured more often as a playmaker and as a result isn't making those plays and throwing pics and balls up for grabs instead. It's not ridiculous to think he could be out of the league. If it can happen to Culpepper it can damn sure happen to Young as the injuries pile up.

roydell williams is his best receiver...before this year, who heard of him...he migh not be the most accurate qb but that list is long and not being accurate always means you're great...i.e. chad pennington...accurate but has no arm strength
