Losing interest in sports - the decline of your favorite teams
Will this rant even make sense, probably not but it came to mind and I thought that I would type it out anyway. Do I like to get bashed when I submit a story, no not really, but I do deserve it because most of the time my rants really do not mean anything. Anyway back to what this is about.

You have more important things to do and less free time now plus I would think it would be hard to stay connected to teams so far away ie. Probably the people you know don't care about SF sports and are talking about Texas sports. So,Mike, the reason is a little bit of everything you mentioned and it all adds up to the way you feel.

No bashing from me. It just further proves that your are not a "die-hard" sports fan. Which is fine, and its not a knock on you at all. No one says you have to be. If you were, you'd make some time to watch some games. Very few people are THAT busy that they don't have a few hours a week to watch a sporting event.
Last year, my Flyers were the worst team in the NHL. It was the teams worst year since they started in '67. But I found myself watching more hockey than I ever had in my life. I had Center Ice, got every game in the world... figured it was a great time for me to start watching more of other teams. My Raiders have the worst total record of any team in the NFL over the last 5 years. But I watch any game i can come sunday (for the most part). No i don't miss family shit because of sports, but when its possible, I try to schedule what i can around certain events. |

Bruins are playing good as of late. They would make the playoffs if the season ended today.
