Kidd back to Mavs
Sources report that the Mavericks are close to completing a deal that would send Jason Kidd back to the Dallas Mavericks. Mavs in return would send Harris, Stackhouse, Diop, and others to the Nets. Deal is not done, but getting close.
Whaddaya think Ssigs. You ready to drop Kidd? |

What are the domestic abuse laws like in Dallas?
Kidd is getting a little past his prime. His wife is really annoying. |

Devin Harris was 'supposed' to be the next coming but has not been able to take the next step. Maybe a change of scenery will break him out.

i like this trade
kidd and malik allen for stack, devin harris, desagana(sp) diop, maurice ager, devean george, 3 million bucks and two 1st round picks also the nets sent dallas antoine wright for a future second as a side deal i like kidd...he resurrected the nets so now i'm rooting for dallas to win it all..i'd like to see him win a title on the flip side...the nets get 2 expiring contracts after the season for around 6 million...they get a 24 yr. old pg as well as the picks...i'm not thrilled with stack cause he's a clone of vc but i understand he makes alot and had to be in the deal i'd love for the nets to turn around and trade vince carter and devean george to indiana for jermaine o'neal... |

What’s more, the Nets plan to buyout the rest of Stackhouse’s contract. Stackhouse can become an immediate free agent, but must wait 30 days to re-sign with Dallas.
The Nets are still discussing a Vince Carter-Jermaine O’Neal trade with the Indiana Pacers, but two sources close to those discussions placed odds below 50 percent Kidd traded to Dallas in latest blockbuster deal - NBA - Yahoo! Sports talk about freeing up cap room |

now stackhouse pretty much admitted that he has a deal to go back to dallas after the nets buy him out...shut up you idiot! this trade won't happen now

It is absolutely mind boggling how bad the Mavs and Mark Cuban screwed this whole thing up. It really is of epic proportions. How, exactly, do you knowingly have a guy with a no trade clause and NOT clear the deal with him BEFORE the trade gets leaked???
I don't necessarily blame George for exercising this right, although there is ZERO chance that the Mavs were going to offer him anything let alone more than any other team. |

well the deal seems to be done again...a deal that had to be made after all this...the nets still get devin harris, two 1st round picks, desagan diop and a pile of garbage that'll never see the floor in a nets jersey

You forgot KVH!! That guy is a stud. Reports now are that since he is in the mix, NJ gives thier 1st round picks to the Mavs into perpetuity! Not sure how the Mavs survive not having KVH. This is devastating.
Can you believe that he actually said that he'd need 48-72 hours to decide?? What an F'ing toolbag this guy is. |
