.....slap upside the head!

Being the social butterfly that I am I cannot help but to post on a local message board. It is about all things Salem. I first started using this site to post information about YMCA events and classes. Eventually I noticed that there was a message board on the site and started reading. The main thing I noticed is that there was a lot of bile and vomit being spewed at local elected and appointed officials. Not at all unusual, especially since almost all of the posters are posting under screen names. I post under BaldBil but display my real name along side. When it comes to local issues I want folks to know who I am and where I stand. There are three or four others who do. the same.

What do you think came in the mail here at the Y today? An anonymous letter containing a copy of an entire thread with all of my posts and post times highlighted. Comments by this weasel were contained on typed stickers
so as not to reveal handwriting. The thread was very broad as most are. It started on a political subject and segued onto other things. We started talking about a bartender from Shanty past who was also a stripper. I used to hang out with her a bit.

This little peckerwood, who hasn't the balls to come out and be seen asked in her little letter if my boss thought my posting on company time and hanging out with strippers was appropriate to our organization. My boss, to her credit chalked this up to someone being both an idiot and a coward.

This person tried to get me canned. Thoughts Gentlemen(and Ladies?).

I wonder if he's posting on company time.
Maybe post this chain of events on the Salem board and see if any of the other posters may know this cats identity.

Bil, I had a similar situation quite a few years back. I had just became a member on SR, and was causing a small riot on the ESPN hockey boards. There was a guy who had it in for me, and decided he wanted to ruin my life by getting me fired, and breaking up my marriage (he was an LA Kings fan btw). He found out where I worked, and sent an email to my boss. He said his name was Mike Simonds, and he thanked my boss for allowing me to spend company time developing sportsrant.com. Obviously, it wasn't Mike, and I was not a developer. My boss knew this, and was really cool about it. He even offered to pay for my plane ticket to LA so I could go beat the shit out of him.

A couple years later I ran into the guy at a Kings / Avs game in Vegas. I had a face to face confrontation with him, and I am pretty sure I made him piss his pants.

Typical internet tough guy.

It's pretty easy to find out who someone is on the intrawebs these days. It wouldn't take a whole lot of effort to reveal his identity, track him down, beat his ass, and drink his booze.

But, since Bil's boss is being uber cool, it's probably not worth the effort. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a 14 year old kid who is flunking algebra.

I spoke last night with my attorney and turned the envelope and papers over to him.

My days of physically confronting people are over unless it is initiated by someone else and I HAVE to defend myself or another. There is enough business of that sort in my past that a court would have little sympathy for me.

Wow Bil, unreal. I'd want to beat his ass but given your situation its probably better to deal with on the level that you are. Too bad his letter wasn't threatening or he'd be in for some bad times legally.

Back alley action against the punk fuckwad wouldn't be out of line...as long as you're not involved....but like I said likely not worth it...keep us posted about the fool.

Michelle, six foot tall, brunette, enhanced double DD's. Nice kid, very popular bartender for a three/four years. She would allow me on ocassion to accompany her when she wanted to go out and didn't want a bunch of peckerheads bothering her. She works up in Manchester NH now but comes down to visit 2/3 times every summer.
