Angry Cole Hamels not happy...

Well here we go. Cole Hamels isn't happy with the Phils cause they renewed his contract, so he is going to be making around $500,000 this year. For being the ace of the pitching staff, thats a really low number.

WAKE THE EFF UP PHILLIES MANAGEMENT.

I understand that the Cole has some past injury problems. But really??? He asked for $750,000. Are you that cheap to not give hime the extra 250K? There is no salary cap and you guys are under the luxury tax threshold, if I'm not mistaken. Pay the man his money. I hope none of the Phillies management owns any prize horses, cause if you lose Hamels or Howard, or both...you might wake up with the heads of your horses in your bed someday...

Here is the article from MLB.com

The Official Site of Major League Baseball: News: Hamels irked over money matters

Two comparable players are Tampa Bay's Scott Kazmir and New York's Chien-Ming Wang, and Hamels is better paid than both were at similar points in their careers. Kazmir earned $424,000 and Wang earned $489,500 last season.

Get over it Cole. They didn't even have to give you that much.

Howard and Hamels aren't going anywhere.

Just solidifies that they are cheapos...it doesn't really worry me much but its not great moves for for 2 of your best players and future of your team.

Disgusting.

And he doesn't even have children. Someone give him my number, i'll lend him a few bucks if he's running alittle short one month.
