Jones has always had big games in seattle. He's always said he likes the turf...
He passed up more top play in detroit. I think Seattle will try the two back game, with Weaver and Duckett sharing time at FB. I hope they at least get something for shaun. I heard the bengals are interested in him... |

Given a choice between seattle and detroit, who wouldn't take seattle? The pay would need to be about three times as much.

It wouldn't bother me if shaun fell off the map. I just don't think he's done yet. I think he's done in seattle yes, but that just because the Oline doesn't fit his style of running.
I would rather have Thomas than Julius, but either one is fine... |

I agree with ssigs...likely he is gone given that they have not signed both Jones and Duckett in the offseason and still have Morris...he had a good run but I don't think he has a ton left and can't seem to stay healthy.

lol....as it stands now they will pay Jones 5.5 mil in 08....Alexander 4.475 mil in 08...Duckett 1 mil in 08....Morris 1 mil in 08 and have two other backs on the roster as well.

They have been talking since last year about renegotiating his contract. You guys should have heard the amount of booing that happened at quest field everytime he touched the ball last year. I don't care who you are, that shit gets to you...

This is on ESPN...
Cutting or trading him doesn?t have much of an impact on the cap. They would lose $150,000 of cap room by trading him. If they put the June 1 cut on him, they would save $4.475 million of cap room. One interesting option for Alexander could be the Cincinnati Bengals. Alexander grew up in Florence, Ky., and is popular around Cincinnati. For years, there were plenty of rumors that the Bengals might try to acquire him in a trade. |

I just don't get the Bengals trade...while I guess it could happen I don't see what they would give up to add an aging oft injured back to go with Rudi who is aging and showed he couldn't recover from injuries last season and an injury plauged season from Watson.
Cutting him seems most likely as ssigs has said. |
