Ellis extends Preds' playoff chances (AP)
 Goaltender Dan Ellis stopped 36 shots for his fifth career shutout, and the Nashville Predators beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-0 Tuesday night for a second straight victory to keep their fading playoff hopes alive. Ellis has been in goal for both wins just as he was about to be replaced by Pekka Rinne, who was called up from their American Hockey League affiliate in Milwaukee. More... |
