Bruins eliminate Leafs with 4-2 victory (AP)
 Tim Thomas made 30 saves, Phil Kessel and Peter Schaefer each had a goal and an assist and the Boston Bruins eliminated the Toronto Maple Leafs from playoff contention with a 4-2 win on Thursday night. The Bruins moved into a seventh place tie with idle Philadelphia, while Toronto missed the playoffs for the third straight year. More... |

Horrible result though.... last night was not good for Flyers fans.
Caps win, Bruins win, Rangers win. Its a huge one again tonight. We win, we are 4 points up on the 9th place Caps and 1 point behind Jersey suddenly. |

rangers winning didn't hurt you...it kept the devils within reach as well as the rangers...after we take down pittsburgh twice this week, they'll be reacheable too

LOL yeah terrible night for the Flyers fans...I've come to grips though...I want to see them make it to get some experience and keep watching flyers games into the post season but they won't go past round 1 likely so if they don't...while it sucks...I can deal
