The Shanty Opens Today!

Opening day at the Shanty today! This is the first year for the new owners. One major change stands out. They are doing it without me. I have decided not to bartend there this year. Rest assured however, that if you lugs ever show the first round and maybe more will be on me. The lovely Kristen is not returning either.

Time for a break, The Y is running me hard these days and I would like to relax a little more this summer. Time is needed for my exercise book also. If I continue at this rate I'll never get it published.

There was no raid last night so all must be in order. I stopped in for a beer about 8:30. The crowd was good with a lot of fairly new faces. The crowd has been changing over the last few years and I think it will be more pronounced this year.

bil is slowing giving up all his duties as mr. salem because he's afraid of a spitzer type incident happening to him in the press

The crowd is changing for the better, younger is good for the business it offsets the attrition you suffer with an older crowd.

I'm solid the with vixen Kristen, no issues there. I actually left before she did. Kristen waited to depart until her internship was offered.

Spitzer? I hardly even know her!

ok we get it..i chickened out of professing my love on myspace for robyn...i'm a wimp..i admit it...but if she was physically in front of me..i would..and for bil, kristen was right there for the taking...how is she going to say no to mr. salem?
