2008 Playoffs – Eastern Conference
So who do you like in the East this year? Obviously Boston and Detroit are the easy choices but what about Orlando or Cleveland? Here are my picks:

Well, now that everything is set, it is time to educate yourself on the matchups.
First, I suggest you go HERE to read about the specific teams from people that regularly blog about them. Then you should go HERE to view the matchups from a statistical standpoint. It is worth it. Here are my first round picks: Boston over Atlanta Detroit over Philly Orlando over Toronto Washington over Cleveland(I'm drinking the Kool-Aid!) A lot of people are thinking that Washington/Cleveland will be the best series but I think that it will actually be Orlando/Toronto. Just a feeling I have. Boston OVER Atlanta in 4- The Big 3 vs Atlanta would be more fun to watch
Detriot OVER Philly in 5 (maybe 6)- I really think the Sixers could steal 1 in Detriot, then Detriot crushes Philly, wins by at least 14 in 3 of the 4 Detriot wins Orlando OVER Toronto in 5- I got nothing. Cleveland OVER Washington in 5- Lebron owns the Wiz in the playoffs. The first round will not be exciting at all. Boston OVER Cleveland in 7- The Big 3 VS Lebron, EXCITING Detriot OVER Orlando in 6- Hey look Detriot wins, 5 games are mid 80s- high 70s, 1 game has both score 80+ because of OT. awesome The Second round will be exciting Boston OVER Detriot in 7- Fun to watch Boston with home court gets the edge. Maybe in a year or 2 the East playoffs will be exciting to watch the WHOLE postseason, but not this year. |
