Still sucks for her, but she shouldn't be going looking to get into a confrontation...the dude can't hit a girl...would he have been justified in doing so if she started a fight though?

I say yes. If you are in the same sport, and want the same rights and to be treated like every other driver, you should be able to be popped in the mouth. She should not be able to hit people knowing she can not be hit back.

I remember that... and thats kind of what the question here is. Why couldn't he push her back? I know she wasn't hurting him, but should she be allowed to push any dude around that she wants to?

Personally, at that point she deserved to be bitch slapped but the media would have crucified him. I would say she should not be allowed to lay a finger on any driver or crew member since they can't retaliate. But,the reality is she will continue to have an unfair advantage should she decide to in any way attack a man.
