Report: Urban Meyer Accepts Coaching Job at Florida

It is being reported that Utah head coach Urban Meyer has accepted the vacant head coaching job at the University of Florida. This goes in contrast of what Meyer himself said would be his "dream job," coaching at Notre Dame. Officials from Notre Dame had been wooing Meyer ever since firing coach Tyrone Willingham earlier this week, but now it seems that the deal is all but done for Meyer to coach the Gators starting in 2005. Financial details of the contract are still being worked out. I would like to take this chance to say this to Notre Dame and their boosters: Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah, ha ha ha ha ha ha. You really screwed yourselves now! Enjoy mediocrity for another decade or two! |
