Tampa expected to name new coach soon (AP)


The primary investors in a group buying the Tampa Bay Lightning said Monday they have no intentions of moving the team and will be "shockingly aggressive" in trying to improve the club that finished last in the NHL last season. Oren Koules and Len Barrie also expect to introduce a new coach, possibly as soon as Tuesday.

Crap, i just saw it was a rumor, but when i got home i heard it was going to be announced.

I'm also hearing they are about to sign Prospal to a 4 year deal. I can't imagine they are going to have very much room to work with though. I'll have to take a look.
