Leafs put Wellwood, Raycroft on waivers (AP)
The Toronto Maple Leafs put forward Kyle Wellwood and goalie Andrew Raycroft on waivers Tuesday, possibly paving the way for their exit. Wellwood had 21 points and a minus-12 rating in 59 games last season while earning $950,000 in the last year of his contract. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, it's expected the Leafs will not tender him a qualifying offer which will make him an unrestricted free...

Wellwood? Really? The dude had 42 points in 48 games the year before. If this guy wasn't softer than the softest thing in the world, i'd want the Flyers to take a shot at him. 0 PIM in 2 years? Not one penalty in 107 games? Does he run away from contact?
