Lightning buy out G Denis (AP)
The Tampa Bay Lightning bought out the final season of goalie Marc Denis' contract Wednesday. Denis, who appeared in 54 games with Tampa Bay, was due to earn $3 million next season. He spent much of last season with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League, playing in just 10 games for the Lightning.
