3-time Olympic champ Kuzkin dead at 67 (AP)
Viktor Kuzkin, a three-time Olympic champion, died after a diving accident earlier this week, the International Ice Hockey Federation said. He was 67. Kuzkin won gold medals with the Soviet Union teams at three Winter Olympics from 1964-72, and eight world championships. The Moscow-born defenseman played 169 times for the USSR, scoring 18 goals, and was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2005.
