Bloated Yankees Constantly Disappoint

So what happens when you build your real Major League Baseball team like a fantasy baseball team? You get the New York Yankees (http://www.ticketspecialists.com/mlb/new_york_yankees_tickets.htm).

Sure they’ve finished first in the American League East six times since the 2001 series, but do...

yea i hate being in the playoff hunt every year and feeling like its possible to win it....it sucks so much....i'm sure pirates fans and mariners fans are much happier about there teams and how they are run...yankees are totally evil and all to blame in the world..i wish more teams were like the cubs as you say...haven't won in 90 years and sometimes make the playoffs...go MLB, minus the yanks!!

I was just using a nickname with the evil thing, not actually saying the team is evil. Really, I was more making the point that the old nickname is no longer relevant. Maybe the slightly less evil or partially neutered or the Greg Norman of baseball would be more appropriate.

For 200 million dollars the Yankees should be in the playoffs and, frankly, the World Series at least every two years.

that article really has nothing to do with nicknames..it has everything to do with hating a team for spending money...it's the same ol buying the championship argument that is really old and irrelevant at this point

of course the young talent was lacking and that's simply due to having late draft picks..they don't have 7 1st rounders playing in the majors like the brewers or rays..but as of late they have worked diligently on scouting and restocking there farm systems...have they spent unwise...yes...have all teams...at some point yes
