BCS escaped major problem with Auburn win.
With an Auburn loss the BCS would be even more fucked up completely unless there have a rule they don't let peope know about.
Pac10 - USC Big 12 - Oklahoma Big East - Pitt ACC - VT SEC - Tenn Big 10 - Michigan UTAH because it was 6th or higher. that makes 7. That leaves Texas at 3, Cal at 4 The rule they talked about last half of the season: If you finish 3 or 4 in the final BCS poll and you are not the conference champion you get a BCS bowl game. 9 teams only 8 slots??? who gets left out. probably written in there #4 would get left out then. |

Cal or Ten would get left out, in addition to the rules, they have ranked them in order of enforcement
1) number 1 vs number 2 will be played 2) no more than 2 teams from a conf 3) non bcs in top 6 4) bcs in top 4 5) conference champion I'm not sure the order of 4 and 5 but I know they are under the non bcs rule, the Notre Dame rule is in there somwhere too, but I'm not sure where it ranks(top 10 bcs I think they get to go) |

not to say I'm defending this system it is absolutely ludicrous.
I don't understand why they don't take the BCS money split the normal dollars up the way they do now between the BCS conferences, plus any non bcs in the top 6, the take the top 8 bcs teams and match them 1-2 3-4 5-6 7-8 If your conference ends up with 2 teams then you could get the extra 4 mil you get today, so the money would be the same and we would get the best teams in the nation playing instead of watching Pitt This would also help the 3 way undefeated, If Auburn got to play Texas then at least there would be a measuring stick for the AP voters to say man they just played a team that OU beat 12 - 0 and looked better/worse than OU who won/got spanked by USC.............. Still not a playoff but at least Auburn would have an outside shot at a split |

I too can't stand the arragance of Texass fans, but I'll rout for them cause I want to see the Big 12 do good. So others will stop saying that other conferences are better.
