Giants price seat licenses from $1,000 to $20,000

More than 80 percent of the New York Giants' season ticket holders will be charged between $1,000 and $7,500 for the right to buy tickets for the team's new stadium under a personal seat license plan announced by the Giants on Thursday.

I can't wait for this season, Eli's going to want to be let loose after the playoff success where he was relegated to a chad pennington type short game and thus lil brother is going to produce a highlight reel of Farve-esqe passes that shouldn't have been without the velocity.

oh, and for the topic I hate the new seat license fee's but animals will pay it. Capitalism at its finest. 20k for the right to pay them for tickets??? whats next I have to pay a 20 dollar cover to buy 5 dollar gas? wouldn't work in most situations. But I do feel for those building new stadiums with the construction costs what they are. I'll be working in Giants stadium during construction and I'll be damned if I'm not going to slip a dorsett jersey in the cement slabs being poured, maybe I'll throw in a sportsrant.com XXXXXL shirt for publicity here as well, hehe

I don't get how they get people to pay either. Even here, most season ticket holders for UT football have to make large donations to get the right to buy tickets.

most disturbing is that people who already held season tickets that may have been in their family forever may have to give them up instead of putting 20k into them with the economy being what it is.

I still get sickened by the prices of season tickets and the fees to the "rights" of the seats.
