I can't say I disagree with that but they should have had a policy in place before allowing him to be drafted not allowing him to be and then changing the policy 2 weeks ago and then not telling the team until the eve of training camp.

he specifically stated that he would remain active and do what he had to in the offseason and then when his career was over he'd still be in the military...i think its a classless move by our military and he's not the only one..i read 2 minor leaguers are allowed to finish the season and then have to report
