oh and another thing

if favre came back and the pack were like hell yea come back...be our starter, etc...the media would be like wow brett is back..now the pack are great again...superbowl contenders..so why now that he's on the jets all these articles come out saying he's finished, he can't play..the jets made a huge mistake..they'll win 5 games at best...etc...so stupid

I think it has a lot to do with his previous two years prior to last year. His numbers were not good and he looked like he should really retire. Last year he came out and played extremely well and had a really good team around him. I guess the media isn't sure what all the Jets changes will mean and whether we'll see Favre from last year or Favre from the previous two years before last. Couple that with a new team, new personel, and a new offenseive scheme and play book and the media gets to be negative.

I think the Jets will be improved and I think Favre gets them a couple more wins than they may have had, possible playoff team IMO...but the AFC has a lot of strong teams as well.

Glad I tried to start a discussion. Well the vegas odds at least changed in the Jets favor it was like 70 to 1 or something and isn't it now like 15 to 1?
