Robert Kraft

Patriots owner Robert Kraft is the biggest s*** head of all time. If any of you remember (maybe not, more of a local thing here in the Hartford metro area) before the Pats made a deal to stay in Foxboro after they wanted a new stadium, Kraft had agreed to come to Hartford, where we were to build a new staduim ready for them to play in 2001. Needless to say, it didn't happen, and Kraft swindled the state of Connecticut their brightest sports moment ever (that includes any Hartford Whaler games). As you all know, the Patriots won the Superbowl that season, and that historic game vs. Oakland in the snow would have been played right here. Though Kraft isn't the villain Peter Karmanos of the now Carolina Hurricanes is, he's still one of the most unwelcomed people to enter Connecticut.

Kraft knows that the Boston area is much more lucrative for football teams because more fans live there, it's all a business.

Hey, you can take it this way that I lived right near the stadium, and that if they moved Connecticut would have been the ass in our opinions.

Exactly. Any time a team moves, no matter how long or short the distance, SOMEONE IS PISSED.

I would have been one of those people.

My uncle has had season tickets for the longest time now, and if they moved it would be a pain to drive down there.

What chaps my a** is that Kraft agreed to move here (was in all the papers, huge news) and he backed out like a little sissy.

But look at it this way. That historic game in the snow might have swung the other way at a different location, because weather conditions would have been different.

Especially in a close game like that....in a 59-0 blowout, it obviously wouldn't have made much difference, but this was an overtime game.

Until the last few minutes, yes. Those last few minutes took forever, with all the tuck rule debate and that kind of crap. Playoff football seems to cause more stress than entertainment sometimes.
