I was going to write a long and winding yarn about why when I went to vote I couldn't bring myself to vote for either one of these two fools, but I got extreme tired-head just thinking about it. I'm with Jay, thank God this is over today.

Is it me or are the candidates actually getting worse over the past 20+ years?

I voted at 7AM. We had three ballot questions today.

1. Should we abolish the state income tax(5.25%)?

2. Should we de-criminalize small amount of marijuana?

3. Should we abolish greyhound dog racing?

Of course if you get rid of the state income tax, what programs suffer for it?

Even though I do not/would not use marijuana, I have long been for it to be legal. The war on drugs was lost long ago.

I believe all taxes should be consumption based without exception.

Marijuana? I really don't care but believe this a part of a larger debate.

I pay 9.25 sales tax instead of an income tax.
I don't care is someone is caught with a joint on them
There's plenty of other crap to gamble on.

Thank god its almost over...the whole process and media attention is nauseating and pathetic anymore.

I agree with jay about the dogs

As far as pot goes...as long as medically it can be totally proven to be no better and no worse than cigarettes and alcohol then I don't care if its legal in small amounts, however before I would EVER get on board with it being legal...their needs to be a field test for it for those driving under the influence of it...I don't care what people say about it not affecting driving...it does, I've seen it personally and read it tons and heard plenty from those that do...if they can't test for it like a breathalizer or blood test at the station...I am not for legalizing it at all.

The regulation of the dogs would cost taxpayer money and more government involvement. It would have to be funded entirely by the industry itself for that to go over.
