Just in case you missed it on Sunday the 14th and on every sports television
station in the US for the last three days, here is the story. After scoring his
second of four touchdown passes in a 45-7 slaughter of the New York Giants, Joe
Horn the Saints receiver,
pulled out a cell phone from underneath the goal post padding and proceeded to
punch some numbers and put the phone up to his ear for a few seconds. This
touchdown celebration has had the most controversy behind it since San
Francisco's Terrell Owens pulled a pen out of his sock and autographed a
football after scoring a touchdown.

When are the old school sports writers going to get off this no touchdown
celebration bull shit? Welcome to the new world of sports assholes, a world
where you can play the game and look good doing it. No one sits around on
Sundays watching the NFL because they love the pure sportsmanship of the game
and the two teams playing as perfect units. We sports fans watch the games
because it is entertainment, hard-hitting excitement! End Zone celebrations are
an integral part of the modern game and it’s excitement. Those pussies that say
celebration it is taunting or unsportsmanlike need to grow up. This isn’t little
league anymore when little Johnny goes home crying because little Billy rubbed
his face in the fact that he is a loser and to slow to catch him on the field of
play. If the rest of the NFL players didn’t like the celebration then let them
line up on the other side of Horn and hit him with everything they have inside
them the next chance they get. Sports writers and league officials should
applaud Horn for his celebration. It brought excite and laughs to us fans who
enjoy a little friendly show boat now and again. I know I will be watching the
upcoming NFL games in anticipation for the end zone celebration competition to
continue.
