Has money gone off the wall. Look at all professional players now, they're earning mass amounts of cash, and in some cases, take most of the salary away when there's a cap, or when you look at percentages.
And then, there are the prizes you get...
That ring looks like it costs more than my life, and all the money Ill be making in it (unless I strike it rich).
Has money become too much of a problem in sports? yes
Is there much we can do? no
Strike, pitiful but it works. Money is a lot now, and it just makes us all feel inferior.
