NCAA wont bend the only rule that matters - September 13th, 2005
The NCAA once again shows that any practical sense has passed them by.
Today a spokesman for the NCAA stated that any divison 1 basketball, football. of hockey player affected by Hurricane Katrina would have to sit out for at least a year should they want to transfer to another division 1 school. While other division 1 athletes could transfer and save their seasons should the original school sign the release.

I will never understand the NCAA once again I am amazed that this archaic bunch of old farts (rich old farts) still run the roost. This rule is a load of biased crap to prevent what the call (Athletic Looting) In these difficult times and even more so due to the depth of talent in the area, the usual scholarship situation due to less financially off athletes, and finaly the hopes of athletes making it to the pros; make this ruling totally out of place an just wrong.

Some coaches complained that other coaches tried to raid their talent pool.
Poo hoo. Some schools are not going to be opened for sports untill after their specific season is over. Other colleges wont serve the students unless they are full transfers. Ahhh nothing like the smell of college greed.

The NCAA can easily spend a little of their billion dollar agreements and approach this on a case by case basis ( Just as they are doing for other items such as financial assistance) but since it involves their bread and butter sports once again players get the shaft.

Thanks alot NCAA for giving me one more reason to say just how biased and money grubbing shit heads that you are.

Im right your wrong and thats
