Today is the 2 year anniversary of SportsRant.com. This is not to be considered front page news but I wanted to take a moment to thank all the members that participate here. This site was born two years ago today and has become a great place to talk sports and other subjects.
I would personally like to thank all the members that participate in the discussions, your ideas to improve the site. This has kept the site alive and believe me there have been times when I almost wanted to just say screw it and give up. When the first anniversary was approaching this time last year we were still not at 1000 members, which was the goal that I set to make for the first year, the site actually made it to 1008 members by 7/8/03. Now we currently stand at 4600 plus members and continue to grow at a steady rate.
I am not really sure about where the Rant will end up, all I want to do is improve it and make it the best site on the internet to talk sports! The improvements will continue as will new features when time and money permit it. It is the feedback from you that keeps the site going and it always be a “for the members, by the members" attitude here
Once again thanks to all of you for sticking around and making this a fun place. Lets continue to grow together!
