Someone once said enough is enough already. In fact I believe that this came from a Looney Tunes cartoon. Last Thursday the federal government failed to obtain its so desired indictment on perjury and tax-evasion. The grand jury’s term had expired and Bonds still remains a free man – for now anyway, which to me is a complete waste of time and proves that the government is on a witch hunt. Bonds is being singled out for who he is and how is attitude towards the media and fans alike.
Now I would probably not be as bold as Michael Rains, Bonds’ attorney “They don’t have enough to indict a ham sandwich, much less Barry Bonds.” I am not sure if I would have made such an idiotic statement on national news so ESPN could replay it over and over again. Even though I am not too smart, I do believe that adding fuel to the fire in this case is extremely stupid. Yeah Rains!! Go ahead, piss off the federal government even more.
U.S. Attorney Kevin Ryan has been given the task of trying to dig up as much evidence as possible on Bonds and “bring him to justice”. Now lets get one thing clear, I firmly believe that Bonds took steroids and lied under oath. Can I prove that, well lets look at what I have:
Kimberly Bell:
A woman scorned, already pissed off at Bonds for dumping her, she has a personal vendetta against him and would say anything. Why would she lie you think to yourself, well if you have any sort of common sense, she’s trying to sell her own book. I cannot remember the title, something like: “How Barry Broke My Heart” or “My Life With Barry Was All Well Until He Stopped Payment On My Check”
Jeff Novitzky:
The IRS agent investigating the case, stated that in interviews with BALCO founder Victor Conte told him that used “The Clear” on a regular basis. Conte denies ever making such a statement. Now I have seen more than one episode of Law & Order (The Original) and that sounds like hear say – He said, She said.
Federal Agents:
Based off of the raid of Bonds close friend and personal trainer Greg Anderson, they state that seized calendars, price lists, and other documents all show that Bonds took Steriods. Without Anderson testimony before the Grand Jury all that documentation is like Charmin – and we all know what you and I do with that. Chances of Anderson testifying equals to ZERO. Now lets look at that for a moment! I am sure that it is not loyalty or friendship – Deep down I am sure Bonds is paying Anderson some sort of hush money, but do not worry about that now – that is scheduled to go before the Lincoln County, Nebraska Grand Jury in 2012 – if my Alzheimer’s lets me think for a second.
In closing, I am fair when it comes to justice and everyone who is guilty of something needs to be brought to justice, but then there’s fishing. What is it now that this new Grand Jury will see that the prior did not, Bonds medical records. Maybe if that is not enough, I have heard from my sources at the San Francisco Chronicle (I cannot divulge my sources without putting their lives in jeopardy) I understand that the U.S. Attorney’s office has contacted Bonds’ mother for some fecal material that she has been keeping in an old soiled diaper of Barry’s in his baby book. I would personally like to thank Lance Williams and Mark Fainaru-Wada over at the Chronicle for sharing that with me, who in return has now shared it with the world.
To Kevin Ryan and the rest of the U.S. Attorneys office, this a complete waste of tax payers money, just give up already it’s time to move on!
